Plant-based, Vegan & Vegetarian Nutrition


Do you eat a Plant-based diet? Or are you wanting to switch to a Vegetarian or Vegan way of life? Or perhaps you're simply interested to learn how to cut back on the amount of animal foods you eat & make sure you're not going to miss out on important nutrition..

You've come to the right place! Amanda Moon is a specialist Plant-based, Vegetarian and Vegan Dietitian based in Adelaide with a wealth of knowledge. She has years of experience working with clients, personally eating a Plant-based diet and has worked with and learned from experts around Australia and Internationally.

When it is important to seek professional dietary advice:

  • Nutrient deficiencies - most common are B12, iron and zinc which can easily be tested by your GP
  • You are thinking about switching to a Plant-Based diet, or recently have
  • You're looking for tips on cooking with dairy and meat alternatives
  • You've been following a Plant-based diet for a while and never had personal dietary advice
  • Planning for pregnancy (women and men!) or you are already pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Infertility issues
  • Your child is 4-6 months old and starting solids
  • Wanting advice on suitable nutritional supplements
  • Interest in an Omega-3 conversion testing (omega6:3 ratio AND omega 3 index tests)
  • You have had digestive issues since being Vegan or have a history with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
  • Food intolerances
  • Low energy or other symptoms that that have risen or worsened since being Vegan 
  • Any general health concerns

Note:  any of the above can apply to you whether following a Plant-based diet or not!  Some people have higher nutritional needs for various reasons and can thrive OR struggle on any diet that doesn't meet their needs.
