PRECONSULT INFORMATION:
Prior to your initial consult, you may be required to complete an online pre-consult questionnaire, detailing your current concerns, health history and diet. A link to this will be emailed after the appointment has been made. In this case, Amanda will review your questionnaire results and give consideration to an initial plan within the 24hrs prior to your first consult. Therefore, a deposit payment may be required at the time of booking. Read more about this below. |

DEPOSIT PAYMENTS & CANCELLATIONS:
Upon making an initial appointment for a complex condition such as food intolerances, a deposit of $40 may required to secure the booking. This covers the time spent reviewing your questionnaire results in the 24hrs prior to your consult. The remaining consult fee will be due at the time of appointment. A full refund of the deposit will be provided via Electronic Funds Transfer only if cancellation is made at least 24hrs prior to your consult by email (feelyourbestnutrition@gmail.com) or phone (0438 682 898). For any unforeseen circumstances where an initial appointment needs to be rescheduled within 24hrs of the appointment time, this is not a problem.

MEDICARE & PRIVATE HEALTH FUND REBATES:
Under a Chronic Disease GP Management Plan, Medicare provide a rebate for up to 5 sessions per calendar year with Allied Health practitioners. Ask your GP whether you have a chronic health condition that makes you eligible.
Note: Medicare do NOT usually offer rebates for online consults, unless for certain situations such as during COVID19.
Private Health Funds may provide a rebate depending on your cover. Amanda has a Provider Number for most Private Health Funds. Ask your Health Fund if you're eligible for a rebate for a Dietitian consult.
